Bayreuth is the largest city in Upper Franconia, Franconia and the fifth largest in the ninth largest in the Free State of Bavaria. The University of Bayreuth currently has around 9500 students and cuts in nationwide rankings, especially in law, economics and physics regularly extremely successful. At the foot of the Maximilian street center is at a sales area of 19,000 sqm.
