• What is the scholarship program of the American Association of University Women, AAUW
The scholarship program "International Fellowship" came in 1917 with the original idea of supporting Latin American women
who want to pursue postgraduate studies in the United States. Later the program was expanded to the entire world, having awarded more than 3,000 scholarships to women in 135 countries.

The "International Fellowship" scholarships are intended for full-time study or research in the U.S. and cater to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents in the country (for which the Association has other scholarship programs that can check if this is you).
Scholarships include master's degrees, doctoral and postdoctoral studies at accredited institutions. There are also several scholarships available for studies conducted outside the United States.
Possible areas of study cover Natural Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Education and Business Administration.

Master's Program, USD 18,000
Doctoral program, USD 20,000

To qualify for a grant from the American Association of University Women applicant must meet certain requirements, such as:
Not having U.S. citizenship or permanent residence in the United States.
Having a bachelor's degree at the time of applying.
Be applied to a master's or doctoral program at an accredited in the United States before the application deadline scholarship institution.
In research, this should be a full year.
English proficiency accredited by the International TOEFL PBT 550 or equivalent minimum. (There IELTS certified will not be accepted).
Not valid for online curriculum.
Must be submitted:
Application form online.
Three letters of recommendation.
Documentation to support that the requirements are met.
Transcript translated into English by an official translator.
Copy of title.
Letter of acceptance in an eligible program at a university in the United States.
The program is full time, so you may not engage in other activities. The student must return to their country of origin at the end of your program.
Applying for grants from the American Association of University Women, AAUW
There is an annual contest, usually open between August and December of each year. The beginning of the school year is from July following the end of the call and June of the following year.
Preference is given to women who have shown a strong commitment to the advancement of women through their professional, civic or community work.
A maximum of six scholarships are renewable for a second year.

The academic qualifications of the applicant.
Commitment to the development of women.
Community and civic work developed previously.
Needs of the country.
