Hispanic Scholarship Fund has launched a scholarship program for study in the United States.

This foundation has nearly forty years offering Latino and Hispanic students over 150 different types of scholarships totaling over $ 430 million.

Endowment

Scholarships awarded ranges from 1,000 to $ 15,000 per student. Normally, the average is $ 2,500 for students in universities and four-year colleges (this is the difference.) And $ 1,250 for students in Community Colleges (in some states called Junior College or Technical College).

Requirements

To apply for one of these scholarships, you must meet the following requirements:

• Being Latino or Hispanic. (Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela. And the Free State Commonwealth of Puerto Rico).

• Have an excellent academic record.

• If you have made recent studies outside the United States, you have to translate and convert GPA score.

• Senior high school, grades for this average are computed from grade 9 to grade 11.
