The University of Manitoba was the first to be based in Western Canada. Home to more than 21,000 students each year. It has two campuses in the city of Winnipeg, one in the region of Fort Gary, and one of nine buildings in the city center. St. John's College and St. Paul's College are part of the university community. It also has College Universitaire Saint-Boniface, a French-speaking technical institution. It offers bachelor's, master's and Ph.D. in the areas of arts in general, Agriculture, Architecture, Business Administration, Commerce and Economics, Computer Science, Dentistry, Engineering, Education, Environmental Studies, Media, Medicine and Science Health, Fine and Performing Arts and Social Sciences.
