TYPES OF STUDIES COVERING THE VARIOUS SCHOLARSHIPS

There are different types of studies covering scholarship programs. Should know, because we may be interested now or in the future. Also meet the requirements to apply for a scholarship we can take months or years, so to have this clear goal in mind can help us get the scholarship you want later.

» Degree

There are few jobs for undergraduate study abroad, but there are some available.

» Mastery

They are fairly common. The basic requirement is to have the bachelor's degree. But if we have a chance to get the scholarship, we must have a good average, usually above 8.0 throughout the race.

If you're in school, or even not start your degree, I suggest you go thinking of this kind of scholarship. It's time that you take all the studios want to get the average. It is also good opportunity for you to start working your TOEFL certificate or its equivalent in any other language, and you plant start studying the basics of Japanese. No kidding. A bachelor's degree takes at least three years. At this time you can speak English if you want to. You can get your average 8.0 if you put interest. And begin to study an additional language gives you extra points on your scholarship application (at least when it is the language of the country you want to go). When you realize you'll be well positioned to get your scholarship. In another section we talk about the personal and professional benefits to get through life experience abroad. A scholarship gives you the free. You can not waste an opportunity.

» Doctorate

Maybe they are the most common programs, along with the master. If we understand a scholarship as an academic, the doctorate is the academic degree there. Doctorates contribute to the development of universities and research, and educational improvements and technological level of the country ...

But few people poses a PhD, at least as a percentage of the total population of a country. If this is your case, that eliminates many potential competitors.

» Postdoctoral

It is even more specialized. Only initiated.

» Research stays and theses

They are closely related to the academic world. Normally you have to have a PhD or be studying one to get a professor specializing in the subject we want to foster in another country. It is also only to initiates.

» Specialization

These programs can be very interesting for a wider range of people. There are many highly specialized courses that may be of interest to a professional. This can be positive for our work or business. Sure for our career. See the latest in our professional field will always be good for us.

The less good is that they are very short programs (a few weeks or months) and, in most cases, the scholarships cover tuition costs and little else.
A variety of specialized courses devoted to the study of culture or language of a particular country.

» Specific grants for teachers

There are several scholarship programs that are designed especially for teachers. Some are managed by the education authority of each country, as in the case of the Ministry of Education of Mexico, SEP. The teacher can study programs related to his teaching activities in general or very specific areas. For example, Japan has an eighteen-month program on teaching methodology in several areas, aimed at teachers from kindergarten to high school and normal school. This program includes six months of Japanese language course. And have one for licensed Japanese language and culture should mostly be teachers.

» Specific grants for other groups

There are other types of scholarships that are designed for public officials, where the candidate can not apply for support directly. Must postulate the institution where he works.

» Educational Credit

This mode is not a scholarship itself. It is a loan that a specialized financial institution grants to students so they can go abroad to continue their education. If considered in this text is that it can be an interesting option for those who can not afford to go abroad, but confident in himself and in his potential (and has who endorse). Furthermore, in some aspects also must meet academic requirements similar to those of any scholarship.
