Founded in 1746, initially as College of New Jersey, is currently the largest private university in the United States and a member of the "Ivy League" (Ivy League), prestigious academic association they belong to the most prestigious U.S. universities. Located in the city of Princeton, in the state of New Jersey, just halfway between the cities of New York and Philadelphia. It has a sprawling campus residence halls with easy access and short distance between them. It has a population of more than 6 000 500 students from across the United States and over 57 foreign countries. This university located in Jersey City, in the state of New Jersey, is under state funding and has a student population of over 9000 people, of which 4% are foreigners. It has more than 500 academic departments and the following colleges: College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education and College of Professional Studies.
