Scholarship for the Master of Education of the OAS - SUAGM

The Organization of American States (OAS) and the Ana G. Méndez University System (SUAGM) have decided to support outstanding people in the Americas by sponsoring a scholarship for the Master of Education with specialization in English as a Second Language in the University of Turabo (UT) .

The program has a maximum duration of 2 years, and the scholarship covers 100% of tuition.

Mastery English teacher exposed to the latest trends in the field of teaching a second language. Serves as the basis for the graduates occupy leadership positions in public and private schools, universities or supervisor positions English.

Requirements of the OAS:

• To qualify for the scholarship, the candidate must have completed the admissions process and been admitted to the curriculum.

• Interested persons will be eligible for lawful permanent residence and nationality of any of the Member States of the GS/OAS except the United States of America.

• The officials of the General Secretariat, people who are under performance contracts with the General Secretariat, the staff of the permanent missions to the OAS, and their families are not eligible to receive OAS scholarship.

• Average 2.75 high school grade
• Three letters of recommendation
• 2 Official transcripts of credits
• Interview (with area committee)
• Examination for admission to postgraduate studies (EXADEP, GMAT or GRE)
• English proficiency .

1 - The candidate must begin the process of admission to the program of studies SUAGM. To start this process, interested parties must complete and fill in the form 'Request for Information' .

2 - Gather the following documents required for the application in the order they are listed:

• Copy of identity document (for example, your citizenship document, passport, national identity card, driving license, etc.)

• Letter of admission to the study program to which you are applying or proof that you have completed the admission process before January 15 (I was able to replace this requirement with the confirmation number request ID number of the application, or confirmation email sent by the university confirming that your application was received successfully. however, please remember that although you can apply thus to be considered in the selection process for the scholarship you must receive final admission to syllabus).

• Curriculum Vitae.

• Diploma or certificate of completion of university study to certify compliance with all academic requirements, including approval of final papers, if applicable.

• Copy of the last university degree qualifications (degree/undergraduate, master's, or doctoral) obtained.

• A letter of recommendation from a teacher or most recent employer addressed to the committee for evaluation and selection of the OAS and SUAGM. The letter should refer to their qualities and academic skills and/or professional. The letter must also be signed, contain contact details, title, date and signature of the recommender.

3 - shall write 2 trials, for which must enter the call to see the characteristics of each.

4 - Complete and submit the Scholarship Application Form OAS together with the documents referred to above, which must be attached under a single document, in PDF format, in the order they are listed. This form must be sent to SUAGM to be included in the applicant's file.
